Curriculum & Approach
We provide a safe, caring and supportive environment where professional staff nurture and guide children, helping them develop good habits and self-care abilities. Through diverse, creative curricula, we promote comprehensive development in moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic aspects, ensuring children's healthy growth. We support parents in addressing educational and childcare issues, implementing parental initiatives and fostering quality home-school partnerships. Our goal is to create a positive environment that promotes children's educational growth.
The curriculum is collaboratively planned and developed by experienced teachers, educational psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and curriculum directors from various professions. The core value of the curriculum is ''Child-Centered,'' aimed at equipping children with the skills to face future challenges. By learning through play, we enhance young children's ''6C'' Competencies, including Creativity, Communication skills, Collaboration, Character Education, Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills, and Citizenship Awareness. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
The whole language approach is employed to foster children’s language development and reading habits through using real-life situations. We help children to achieve all-rounded development, and cultivate their initiatives and independence in learning. Empowering children in self-directed learning can be achieved through thematic stories, project work, free play, self-care activities and outdoor activities. According to the children's different abilities and development needs, the school-based curriculum is implemented to encourage children to explore, learn and gain more diverse experiences in a multi-faceted learning environment, balanced and inspiring activities.
