This kindergarten joins the EDB's Kindergarten Education Scheme. To take up a place you'll need an EDB Registration Certificate (apply September–November) and must register during the territory-wide Unified Registration Dates in early January — when each child can secure only one place.

2026/27 entry- Application window
- 1 Sept 2025The Education Bureau accepts applications for the “2026/27 Kindergarten Admission Registration Certificate” between September and November 2025. Application forms are available for download starting in September 2025; they can also be collected in person or downloaded online from September 1, 2025.

- Selected candidates must complete the registration procedures at our school within the designated time. For alternate candidates, once the selected candidates decide to forfeit their places, the school will notify the parents by phone and ask them to come to the school on the specified date to complete the registration procedures.

There is no limit to the number of applications that can be submitted. Ways to submit applications: In person or by mail to our school, along with all required documents. Submission hours: Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) / Saturday (9:00 am to 12:00 noon). Notification of admission results: Whether you are admitted or not, we will notify you within five to ten working days by phone, email, or mail. Arrangements for alternate candidates: If the selected candidate fails to complete the registration procedures within the designated period, they will automatically forfeit their place, and the school will notify an alternate candidate to take their place via phone. If you are not admitted: Parents are advised to check the “Vacancy Information for Kindergarten Class K1” published on the Education Bureau’s website, at the local education service offices, or by calling the relevant hotlines.

Located in Long Tin House, Pak Tin Estate, Lok Sin Tong Tung Ching Bor Kindergarten is opening in 2024-2025. Our school will offer bilingual classes for both pre-nursery pupils and kindergarteners. Local and foreign teachers will work together to create an immersive language-learning environment. We plan to make best use of picture books to stimulate students’ curiosity and share their stories. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
