Required documents

• Copies of the student’s identification documents (such as ID card or passport)
• A copy of the “Primary School to Secondary School Placement Certificate” distributed by the Education Bureau through primary schools (applicable to those who submit it after the results of secondary school placement are announced)
• Copies of the report cards for Grade 5 and Grade 6
• Other award certificates, such as copies of certificates or testimonials for participation in extracurricular activities and community services

Selection criteria

1. Students in Grades 5 and 6 achieved excellent results (grades B or above in Chinese, English, Mathematics, and General Studies).
2. Good conduct (behavior rated at B level or above)
3. Priority will be given to those with expertise in sports, activities, services, and other areas.

Selection weightings

For the admission scheme where places are allocated automatically at the junior high school entrance level: interview performance accounts for 34%, the ranking obtained by the Education Bureau accounts for 24%, primary school academic performance accounts for 20%, extracurricular activities account for 10%, and primary school conduct accounts for 12%. For the admission scheme where places are not allocated automatically at the junior high school entrance level: interview performance accounts for 46%, primary school academic performance accounts for 32%, extracurricular activities account for 10%, and primary school conduct accounts for 12%.
