Required documents

• Please read the important notes contained in the registration form carefully.
• A recent photo of the student
• Copies of the student’s identification documents (such as ID card or passport)
• A copy of the “Primary School to Secondary School Placement Certificate” distributed by the Education Bureau through primary schools (applicable to those who submit it after the results of secondary school placement are announced)
• Copies of the report cards for Grade 5 and Grade 6
• Other award certificates, such as copies of certificates or testimonials for participation in extracurricular activities and community services
• Document photo (5 cm in height x 4 cm in width, on a white background) (File formats: gif, jpg, png; maximum file size: 10 MB; maximum resolution: 1024 x 1024 pixels)
• Birth certificate
• Graduation certificates of alumni of our school (only those who are directly related by blood: parents, siblings). (If applicable.)
• The student ID card (or the student information page in the handbook), if applicable, of a sibling who is enrolled in the middle school department of our school.
• The student ID card (or the page containing student information in the handbook), if applicable, of a sibling who is enrolled in the primary school department of our school.
• During the interview, copies of the following documents must be submitted: birth certificate, the most recent report card/performance evaluation, and any records of awards or competitions won.
• If necessary, a letter of recommendation may be attached.
• Please attach a recent photo of the student to the application form.
• Copy of the student's identification document
• Copies of the school’s report cards for the past two years of the class in which the student is currently enrolled
• Copies of documents proving that the student has participated in extracurricular activities (if applicable)
• Copies of other reference materials available for consultation
• Completed application form
• Income certification documents
• Proof of approval results from the Social Welfare Department/Student Financial Assistance Office
• If you have received funding from other programs or funds, you must provide detailed information about the funding received and submit the relevant supporting documents.
• If the applicant or their spouse is self-employed or fails to submit the above documents on time, please fill out a statement of income or a profit and loss statement.
• Proof of unemployment (if the applicant or their spouse is not a recipient of Comprehensive Social Assistance but was unemployed between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026)

Selection criteria

1. During the stage of allocating university places for students in Form 1, interview performance accounted for 34%, the ranking obtained by the Education Bureau accounted for 24%, primary school academic achievements accounted for 20%, participation in extracurricular activities (such as music, art, sports, community service, etc.) accounted for 10%, and primary school conduct accounted for 12%.
2. For the degree allocation phase not within the Central Secondary One programme: 46% is based on interview performance, 32% on primary school academic achievements, 10% on participation in extracurricular activities (such as music, art, sports, community service, etc.), and 12% on primary school conduct.
