Other fees

Accommodation, meals, and tuition fees are all waived; the cost of textbooks, personal clothing, daily necessities, and medical expenses shall be borne by the parents. The design and pricing of seasonal school uniforms are also specified; fees are charged for textbooks, file folders, worksheets, and teaching materials.

Our school offers classes from Grade 4 to Grade 9, with a total of 9 classes and 12 students in each class. The center also provides 3 dormitories, offering a total of 64 sleeping places.

Age eligibility

Girls and adolescents aged 9 to 18 who are facing difficulties in adapting due to family circumstances, their personal behavior, or emotional issues, and whose families are temporarily unable to provide them with appropriate guidance and care (the average age of admission is generally no more than 16 and a half years old).

Parents must give their consent for their daughters to reside in or attend the centre before they can inquire about and apply through the following channels: social workers from the Social Welfare Department or family service centres run by non-governmental organizations, school social workers, medical social workers, outreach social workers, or middle school principals. Applications should be made to the Central Co-ordination Referral System (CCRM), which is jointly operated by these government departments: the Rehabilitation Services Section of the Social Welfare Department (tel.: 2892 5106) or the Second Special Education Support Team of the Education Bureau (tel.: 3698 3727). For those applying to attend our school and requiring residential services, in addition to completing the electronic form on the Student Admission to Group Education Schools/Residential Services Online Application System (eAppSSD) (https://eappssd.edb.gov.hk/home), they must also submit the completed CRSRC form to the Central Referral System for Children’s Residential Care Services of the Social Welfare Department, located at 7th Floor, Wu Chung Building, 213 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai. The residence period is usually around one and a half to two years. The centre will regularly assess the needs and progress of individual students and discuss the date of discharge and future plans together with parents/guardians, students, and referring social workers.
