Curriculum & Approach
Multiple child care services are provided to meet the needs of society and families, including full-day classes, integrated programme, occasional child care service and extended hours services, so that children can receive comprehensive education and care. Our school develops child-centered curriculum, provides a diversified learning environment, cultivates children's learning interests and learning abilities, promotes the development of children's potential, and lays the foundation for lifelong learning.
The child-centered curriculum is designed according to children's development needs, abilities and interests, and the learning content is compiled according to children's life experiences and interests. It provides a variety of activities to cultivate children's active exploration and learning, and focuses on moral education and civic education. Cultivate good learning attitudes and living habits, so that children can develop in a balanced manner in all aspects of morality, intelligence, and physical fitness. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Through “Thematic Approach”, “Picture Book Scheme”, design activities, outdoor visit experiences, group and individual learning, the school curriculum allows children to learn through doing and exploring through sensory contact, and to develop their creativity. Professionally trained Native-speaking teachers are arranged to teach English with children, these activities are providing more opportunities for children in listening and speaking English. In addition, children will also be arranged to participate in Mandarin activities to encourage children to use three languages to communicate with different people, to improve their language skills. In addition, through children's participation in the group activity ''Happy Bee'', we cultivate children's good character and promote their overall development.
