Curriculum & Approach
We are a non-profit organization with an emphasis on enlightening children’s potential and moral development to foster their holistic development in the domains of ethics, intellect, physique, social skills and aesthetics.
Our curriculum adopts “child-centredness” as the core value, which the design is based on the growth and developmental needs of children to provide a real-life and interesting learning experiences. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Adopting a strategy focused on sensory exploration and play with picture book / theme based readers and project approach as the main teaching methods, aims to cultivate children's interest in reading. Through data collection, exploration, observation, interviews, discussions, and practice, children construct new knowledge. By participating in extracurricular visits, children broaden their horizons, nurture a spirit of exploration, and develop autonomous learning. In terms of foreign language learning, a resident foreign English teacher engages with children in fun and practical activities, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment for language acquisition. Two English teachers conduct daily activities with students, including phonics, English games, STEM activities, and storytelling sessions. For character development , diverse activities and parent-child tasks are implemented to establish positive values and attitudes, such as self-discipline, caring for others, and respect for the elderly. These initiatives help children learn and practice good behavior from an early age.
