Curriculum & Approach

Vision & Mission

Our belief : ''Don't ask how intelligent our kids are, but ask ourselves how to nurture their wisdom.” With the spirit of “education without distinction”, we are dedicated to provide a suitable environment for children to meet their learning needs and unleash their potential and creativity. We aim to establish a positive, active, and serious attitude in children and enable them to achieve comprehensive and balanced development in the five aspects of development.

Curriculum planning

Our school designs a well-rounded curriculum by using picture books and games as medium. We particularly emphasize cultivating children's moral character and problem-solving abilities to promote holistic development. We facilitate experiential learning activities, arrange field trips, and encourage participation in community events to enable children to apply their learning in practice. Additionally, we design our foreign language curriculum based on nursery rhymes and stories to enhance children's interest in English and Mandarin. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.

Learning & teaching approach

The school implements small group teaching, with themes incroporating picture book stories, Orff music, life-oriented mathematics, and problem-solving activities, to promote the overall balanced development of children. Through a variety of on-campus and off-campus activities, such as setting up free play days every week, we allow children to learn actively and enrich their learning experience, and cultivate their moral and social awareness. Off-campus activities include but are not limited to: field trips, school visits, inter-school or individual performances and competition, to enhance their global perspective and promote their confidence.
