New students must bring their placement certificates issued by the Education Department to take the test. If a student is unable to attend due to urgent circumstances (such as illness or being outside Hong Kong), the parent must submit a request for leave to the principal by July 13. If the Education Department declares a school closure on Tuesday, July 14, due to bad weather, the test scheduled for that day will be postponed to Wednesday, July 15.
