Curriculum & Approach
SKIP is a small preschool with a BIG heart. It is more than just a school; SKIP is a magical place, a community, a family with children at its core.
UK Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum with forest school focus.
Our curriculum allows children to follow their interests and take control of their own learning whilst getting a strong foundation in all 7 areas of learning: communication and language, physical development; personal, social and emotional development; literacy; mathematics; understanding of the world; expressive art and design. We follow the UK synthetic phonics programme ‘Letters and Sounds’, alongside a fun handwriting scheme aimed at developing motor control and letter formation. Additional programmes include Forest and Beach school, gardening, baking, PE and access to a wide selection of library resources.
