Acceptance deadline

Students who have been assigned “self-allocated places” should complete the registration procedures from November 26 to 27, 2025; candidates on the waiting list should complete the registration procedures on November 28, 2025; children who have been assigned places through the unified allocation system should complete the registration procedures from June 9 to 10, 2026; if they are unable to do so within these dates, they can still register on June 11, 2026.

Date for distribution of the application forms for self-allocated places: September 1 to 26, 2025; Deadline for submitting these application forms: September 22 to 26, 2025. Parents of children who do not receive self-allocated places must go to the Central Allocation Centre between January 24 and 25, 2026, to complete the school selection procedures. The results of the central allocation will be notified by mail; parents may also opt to receive them via text message. A list of children who have been admitted to private primary schools but still participate in the Primary One Admission Arrangement will be provided to the relevant private schools before the announcement of the central allocation results in June. Parents whose children are declared as “first-born children” only need to indicate this in the “Primary One Application Form” and do not need to take an oath separately. Those who need to take an oath for the Primary One admission process must go in person to the Degree Allocation Section of the Education Bureau to complete the relevant procedures.
