Selection criteria

1. If both parents work full-time at the kindergarten or middle school branch located on the same premises as the primary school, 20 points will be awarded.
2. If the elder sibling is enrolled in the middle school department located at the same campus as the primary school, 20 points will be awarded.
3. If the parent is a member of the school board of that primary school, 20 points will be awarded.
4. If the parent or sibling is a graduate of this primary school, 10 points will be awarded.
5. The first-born child (that is, the oldest child in the family) (5 points)
6. Sharing the same religious beliefs as the school’s governing body (see footnote) (5 points)
7. If the parent is a member of the organization that sponsors the primary school (see note) (5 points)
8. Children of appropriate age (that is, those who will be at least 5 years and 8 months but no more than 7 years old by the start of the school year in September of the following year) (10 points)

Selection weightings

Parents who work full-time at the kindergarten or middle school branch located on the same premises as the primary school (20 points); siblings who attend the middle school branch located on the same premises as the primary school (20 points); parents who are members of the school’s board of directors (20 points); parents or siblings who are alumni of the primary school (10 points); the eldest child in the family (5 points); (Only one of the above five options may be selected); having the same religious belief as the school’s governing organization (see note) (5 points); parents who are members of the organization responsible for running the primary school (see note) (5 points); (Only one of the above two options may be selected); children who are of the appropriate age (i.e., aged 5 years and 8 months to 7 years by the start of the next school year) (10 points).
