Documents required for registration: The “Primary 1 Registration Certificate” issued by the Education Bureau, the original and photocopies of the student’s Hong Kong birth certificate or relevant immigration documents, two photos of the student’s identification card, a school record book for the entire academic year, and various miscellaneous fees ($548) for the first semester. The school record book and miscellaneous fees can be paid in cash or by cheque. If paying in cash, please bring enough change. Please write “St. John’s De Tian Lee Chiu Kwan Primary School Trust Board” on the cheque, and include the student’s name and contact phone number on the back of the cheque. Note: Parents must have their body temperature checked when visiting the school. It is not necessary for parents to bring their children to the school in person. If parents are unable to attend, they can authorize someone else to handle the registration procedures on their behalf. Failure to register on time will result in the loss of the allocated school place.

Those who are successfully selected will receive individual telephone notifications and letters informing them of the further admission procedures; the remaining candidates will be added to a waiting list. Should any vacancies arise before the start of the semester, students will be admitted based on their interview results.

Interview

Individual · 1 round(s) · 13 Jun 2026Interviews will only be conducted with students. Due to the anticipated high number of applicants, all interview dates and times cannot be changed. In the event that severe weather conditions (such as typhoons or heavy rain) cause the Education Bureau to declare kindergartens closed, the interviews will be postponed by one week and held on June 20th.

Registration period for the 2026/27 primary one placement system: June 9, 2026 (Tuesday) to June 10, 2026 (Wednesday). Registration hours: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Registration location: Anglican Tse Tak Lee Primary School (Meeting Room, Ground Floor). Application period for primary one candidates in the 2026/27 school year: From 10:00 am on June 3, 2026, to 5:00 pm on June 11, 2026. Fee: Free of charge.
