Required documents

• Application Form for Primary One Admission (In the section “Category C: Name of the Primary School to Apply for”, please fill in “St. John Tseng Chau Tin Primary School”).
• Original ID card of the parent/guardian
• The original and duplicate copies of the birth certificate for the schoolchild
• Original and duplicate copies of address verification documents (such as water/electricity/gas/residential fixed-line telephone bills, public housing rental cards, lease agreements stamped with official seals, etc.; the name on these documents must be that of the parent/guardian).
• Documents required for the submission of Items [A] and [B] under Section C: If there is an older sibling enrolled in this school, the sibling’s current “Student Handbook” (page 1) as well as the original and duplicate copies of their birth certificate must be attached. If the parent or older sibling is a graduate of this school, their graduation certificate, along with the original and duplicate copies of the older sibling’s birth certificate, must also be provided. “Same religious belief” refers to various denominations within Christianity and Catholicism; students must have been baptized or be registered members of such a church, and the corresponding original and duplicate certification documents must be submitted.

1. My elder brother and sister are both studying at this school.
2. Parents or siblings are graduates of this school.
3. The same religious beliefs (Christianity and various denominations of Catholicism; students must have been baptized or be registered members of the respective church).

Selection weightings

A preliminary list of candidates will be prepared according to the scoring method established by the Education Bureau. In the event that two or more candidates score the same number of points, the Education Bureau will handle the situation through a central lottery system.
