The application fee is HK$2,800 for each application. This is a non-refundable, non-transferable administration fee based upon the user-pay principle. Due to the high number of applications, the collection of the application fee does not constitute any assurance that an interview or a school place will be offered. Applicants in the queue could be subjected to a period of waiting and be considered for future school years instead, due to the lack of vacancies. RCHK allocates 2% of its fee income to a fund for hardship cases for current students. ESF Financial Assistance Scheme is available.
