- Age eligibility
- Applicants must be age appropriate for the year. The cut-off date is December 31st, and students will usually start Year 1 during the year they turn five (5). For students starting the 2024-25 school year who are born between 1st September and 31st December, parents may select the standard year level of enrolment for their child's birth year, or select a lower entry year level.

- You will receive written notification of the interview results. Children not immediately offered a spot are placed in the waitpool. Children not offered a place are welcome to apply again the following year.

- If placement is offered, parents will be given a period of one week to confirm acceptance of the placement.

- Applicant is a student at a GenCE school (normally for at least one academic year – may be shorter if arrived in Hong Kong mid-academic year from overseas); Applicant has a sibling who is already in the primary school (or who is a graduate thereof) to which they're applying, provided the length of time at that school is sufficiently long to indicate support; Applicant has a sibling attending another GenCE school, provided the length of time at that school is sufficiently long to indicate support; Applicant is a child of an alumni of a GenCE school; Their family is from overseas, and seeks an international education for their children.
