Vision & Mission

School ethos

JCCSS(TM)fosters a positive, caring, and disciplined environment focused on holistic student development. Guided by the motto "Ever Striving, Never Ceasing" the school emphasizes character building, mental well-being, and social adaptability alongside academic growth. We promote a culture of mutual respect and perseverance through active teacher-student relationships and peer support initiatives led by the Student Development Committee. Annual traditions such as the "Climbing Castle Peak" activity encourage resilience and determination in facing challenges. Students are given meaningful autonomy—including opportunities to participate in classroom decoration and other hands-on projects—strengthening their sense of belonging and responsibility. Many alumni maintain strong connections with the school and return to share their professional experiences. A wide range of programs enhances learning beyond the classroom: Diversity Learning Week incorporates project-based and outdoor learning, with student presentations to develop confidence and teamwork. We encourages junior form students to learn musical instruments and engage in sports and arts. The dragon boat team has achieved notable success in inter-school competitions, with members selected for the Hong Kong team. Our students are supported to excel both personally and academically.

Vision & mission

Upholding the motto of ‘Ever Striving, Never Ceasing’ (from I-Ching), the school is committed to providing whole-person education to our students, teaching them according to their aptitude and abilities and preparing invaluable human resource for Hong Kong and our motherland, China. The school also pays heavy attention on the balanced development of the five aspects (moral, cognitive, physical, social and aesthetic) and to nurture students’ life-long learning, allowing them to explore and develop their personal potentials.
