Other fees

Proposed fees for 2026/27. Primary and middle school: Class 1 to 3 Tuition fee $15,430 x 10 months; Class 4 to 6 Tuition fee $16,510 x 10 months; Class 7 to 8 Tuition fee $17,680 x 10 months. Application fee: $2,000. Deposit: $35,000. Annual capital levy: $13,000. Late payment fee: 1% per month on all outstanding balance. Late notice fee: Equivalent to 2 months' tuition. The above are subject to Education Bureau's approval. Bus fees, uniform, lunch, extra learning aids, and extra-curricular activities are not included in the above.

Results announced

Once the admission decision has been made, an Enrolment Offer will be sent out as soon as practicable, normally within two weeks of the interview.

Acceptance deadline

To accept the Offer and secure a child’s place, parents will need to sign and return the enrolment acceptance form within 7 days upon receipt of the Offer.

Priority categories

Priority admission will be granted to those children, provided the applicant and family meet all set criteria and requirements, who are also in one or more of the following categories (in order): Are children of full-time staff at Island Waldorf School; Have or have siblings attending Island Waldorf School; Have or have siblings that attended Highgate House School; Are children of full-time staff in Waldorf schools; Have attended a Waldorf pre-school

Interview

Group · 1 round(s)The interview will cover a wide range of topics, such as your first years with your child, sleeping patterns, siblings, dietary requirements, allergies, preferences and any specific information about your family you would like to share. Our officers will also talk with you about how the school runs, how information is shared between school and home, and how you can get involved yourself. Candidates who pass the interview will be invited to attend the desired class for at least 2 days on a trial basis.
