Parent Consultation and Visits: Our school provides consultation services for parents who are interested in learning more about special education and our curriculum. We also arrange visits to our facilities and introductions to the curriculum content and features, depending on the parents’ wishes and interests. New Student Admission Process: When our school receives referrals from the Education Bureau or other schools for students to enroll, our social workers will first contact the parents in order to gain a better understanding of the students’ needs and provide appropriate support and arrangements to help them adapt to our school. Subsequently, we will arrange meetings between the parents and the students with the principal and professional staff to finalize the admission process. The specific steps include: - Receiving referrals from the Education Bureau or other schools; - Social workers contacting the parents for further information and arranging home visits if necessary; - Preparing new student records and admission documents; - Arranging meetings between new students, their parents, the principal, and professional staff; - Social workers assisting with the completion of admission procedures.
