Fee subsidy

The academy is a directly-funded institution, and students enrolled must pay tuition fees. The academy offers fee waivers to students in need, including those from families receiving comprehensive social assistance or those who receive financial support from the Student Financial Assistance Agency. The purpose of these waivers is to ensure that no student is prevented from attending the academy due to inability to pay the fees, thus providing opportunities for students from various backgrounds to receive creative and artistic education. Each year, the academy allocates no less than 10% of its annual tuition revenue for fee waivers. Families in need may apply to the academy for such assistance.
