Other fees

The application and assessment fee is non-refundable. Primary and Secondary: HKD 3,700 per student.

Children must have turned ten (10) years of age by 31 August of the year of entry into Grade 5

Results announced

Your application will be processed between one to two business days where you'll receive an acknowledgement email. Your child will be placed on the waitlist for their respective year group and arrangements may be made for a future entrance assessment according to our schedule.

Acceptance deadline

the allocation or purchase of a Debenture must be finalised by the deadline date specified in the offer letter.

Priority 1: German, Swiss or Austrian passport holders, Infrastructure Debenture holders; Priority 2: Sibling(s) of student currently attending GSIS; Priority 3: Child(ren) of GSIS Staff; Priority 4: Child(ren) of GSIS Alumni; Priority 5: Existing, vacant Debenture holders; Priority 6: The date of receipt of a new application

Interview

Individual · 1 round(s) · mixedFor entry into the German International Stream (GIS), a meeting with our Head of Department is mandatory. For EIS Y12, candidates will be interviewed. Candidates for KG1 & Y01 are assessed individually but within a group of children.

Applications are accepted year-round. Waitlists can change. For EIS, assessment invitations are sent based on admissions priority; no guarantee of assessment. If not offered assessment due to waitlists, application can be deferred to next available year group at no additional cost. For GIS, meeting with Head of Department is mandatory. For Y12, interview required. All assessment papers are confidential. No examples of test papers available. When a vacancy arises, next applicant in line is contacted. Students must have valid HK ID or visa with authorized residency status. For Pok Fu Lam Campus, school bus is mandatory. For The Peak Campus, school bus is optional. Changing curriculum after admission is not supported. Declining an offer archives the application; reapplication required for future years.
