Applications for either the German or the English International Stream are accepted year-round, even from birth.

Age eligibility

Children must have turned three (3) years of age by 31 August of the year of entry* *If places are available, children aged 2 years 8 months might be considered for enrolment and must be toilet-trained.

When a vacancy arises during the year, the next applicant in line will be contacted to determine if they are still interested in being offered a place.

Acceptance deadline

the allocation or purchase of a Debenture must be finalised by the deadline date specified in the offer letter

Priority categories

Priority 1: German, Swiss or Austrian passport holders, Infrastructure Debenture holders; Priority 2: Sibling(s) of student currently attending GSIS; Priority 3: Child(ren) of GSIS Staff; Priority 4: Child(ren) of GSIS Alumni; Priority 5: Existing, vacant Debenture holders; Priority 6: The date of receipt of a new application

Interview

Group · 1 round(s)Candidates will be assessed individually but within a group of children. For entry into the German International Stream (GIS), a meeting with our Head of Department is mandatory for all applicants as part of our selection process.

Your application will be processed between one to two business days where you’ll receive an acknowledgement email. Your child will be placed on the waitlist for their respective year group and arrangements may be made for a future entrance assessment according to our schedule. If a child is not offered an assessment due to long waitlists, the application can be deferred to the next available year group at no additional cost and the original date will be retained.
