FANLING ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH GRACE LIGHT KINDERGARTEN

Purpose: To establish a high-quality gospel campus that loves God and loves others. Mission: (1) Cultivate future talents with the value of Christ and contribute to society. (2) Through home-school cooperation and rich resources, cultivate students' balanced development in moral, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and spiritual.

The curriculum design is based on the spirit of the Gospel, child-centered, and social development. It incorporates moral education, play-based teaching, and brain-based and thinking-based teaching models and strategies to cultivate children's motivation for multi-perspective thinking and discussions. This helps further develop and enhance their confidence, collaboration skills, logical thinking, and creativity. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.

1. Using topics based on children’s real-life experiences for thematic teaching and project-based learning. 2. Incorporating highly collaborative and interactive activities into daily teaching, such as pair discussions, group tasks, or scientific inquiry activities. 3. Emphasizing children’s outdoor learning experiences by organizing outdoor field trips. 4. Have on-campus foreign English teachers and mainland Chinese Putonghua teachers lead language activities. 5. Hold a Multiple Intelligence Activity Day on Fridays. 6. Establishing uniform groups to learn and practice the spirit of the Gospel, fostering confidence and team spirit.
