The registration period for self-allocated places usually takes place in late September each year. Applicants must visit the school during the designated time slots, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, to submit their applications. The registration period for the unified placement system is around late January each year. For candidates on the waitlist, the application period is within three days of the announcement of the unified placement results (in 2026, this was from June 3 to 5 and June 8). They must personally submit their applications and schedule an interview. The school does not conduct any form of interviews, except for candidates on the waitlist. In the event that two or more students have the same score, the Education Bureau’s Central Lottery System will be used to determine the order of placement.
