Vision & Mission

School ethos

Based on Christian culture, Sun Kei puts emphasis on nurturing students' character and morality to foster their development with love and care and to build up the school ethos of conscientiousness, simplicity and purity. The new academic year focuses on inspiring students with a sense of responsibility towards the school, society and our nation. Moral education is promoted through lessons, morning assemblies, weekly assemblies and the Sun Kei Forum. The ‘My Pledge to Act Day – Glow Up Your Life’ is held in September. By participating in collective commitment actions, students practice growth thinking, dare to face challenges, learn from failures, develop new skills and expand their capabilities to achieve success. In order to consolidate students' respect and love for the country and strengthen the awareness of national security, the activities of ‘National Security’, ‘National Education’, ‘Ethical Value’ and ‘Citizen Responsibility’ are taken as the target directions throughout the year to deepen students' values of ‘law-abidingness’, ‘respect’, ‘compassion’, ‘commitment’, and ‘integrity’. This year, the school will strengthen the teaching of positive values and promote mental health in order to help students face diverse changes in their circumstances.

Vision & mission

In compliance with the ideals of ‘Whole Person Education’, the school is dedicated to becoming “an Arena for Proclaiming Christ”, “an Institution to Develop Human Potentials”, and “a Cradle of Leaders”. It nurtures students to have a balanced development in the ‘Spiritual’, ‘Moral’, ‘Intellectual’, ‘Social’, ‘Physical’ and ‘Aesthetic’ aspects and to strive for excellence with both high moral fabrics and ability for their services to society.
