Payment schedule

The reservation fee which equals to one-month tuition fee will be collected within one month before the beginning of the new school year and will be credited against the first tuition payment.

Capital levy

Debenture / nomination right

HK$560,000Individual Capital Note or Annual Capital Levy It is due within 30 days of acceptance or before the first day of school whichever is earlier.

Other fees

Application Fee: Preparatory to Grade 3: $1,500; Grade 4 to Grade 12: $1,800. We do not accept cash. Please make cheque payable to "Christian Alliance International School". Placement will be confirmed once the Individual Capital Note or Annual Capital Levy payment is paid by the designated date.

Age eligibility

Grades 1 to 12: Students must be age-appropriate on or before August 31 of year of entry, otherwise it will be reviewed on a case by case basis

Results announced

Parents will be notified of the admissions decision in writing within 30 days. If the applicant fulfills the admissions requirement but vacancy is not available, the applicant will be placed in the Wait Pool for one academic year. The assessment results are only valid for one academic year.

Acceptance deadline

Placement will be confirmed once the Individual Capital Note or Annual Capital Levy payment is paid by the designated date.

Priority categories

Corporate Capital Note nominees, Non-local passport holders, Children of CAIS faculty members, Overseas applicants, pastoral and missionary families, Siblings at CAIS and children of CAIS alumni

Interview

1 round(s) · Preparatory and Grade 1: November to December 2025The applicant should be accompanied to the assessment by one parent or guardian. Duration of the assessment varies according to applying grade: Preparatory to Grade 3: Approximately 1 hour. Parents will be interviewed by our Admissions Team as well, on a separate day, if necessary.

If seats are available, the applicant will be scheduled for an admissions assessment (and student interview). An email invitation will be sent to the applicant 7 days prior to the scheduled date. The Application Fee will be processed on the assessment day. When an admissions assessment is offered but there is no vacancy available, parents can choose to have the applicant assessed or not. Registration Package will be sent out from the General Office before the summer break. New Parent and Student Induction Meeting will be scheduled before the first day of school, if necessary.
